7/11/08 Herbert Hoover: Mass Murderer or Victim?

Near Springfield, IL: Today we went to a museum about Herbert Hoover. It was pretty interesting because of the controversy about him. One should keep in mind that he was the one who was the face of the people who had decided to drop it. That aside, he was pretty interesting. He was known as the “great humanitarian” and constantly tried to help people. There was also a part about the civil war, and what caused it on a lower floor. After checking everything out, we headed back and relaxed for the rest of the day.

7/10/08 Happy House

Near Springfield, IL: Today we all went to check out a house that was turned into the museum. The Dana-Thomas house was designed by the Frank Lloyd Wright during 1904.It was meant to be a showcase, and Frank was given free rein to decorate the house at his whim. It was a nice museum, and my favorite part was the exquisite vase by the front door (or, if you count stories, the story about a chef murdering a bunch of people). Afterwards we headed back and relaxed for the rest of the day.

7/8/08 Storm Chasing (Accidentally)

Hannibal, MO----Near Springfield, IL: Today was Zac and Marge’s first travel day. We were in a good mood when we traveled, but it was very hot in the camp and everyone was very cranky. That was when Marge had the brilliant idea to go swimming in the park’s pool. This was the first time I had been in a pool since practically since we had a house so I agreed. Before I got there though, Marge had swallowed some water and stopped swimming. Anyway, Ed persuaded the rest of the kids in the pool to play Marco Polo. Everyone had fun until a huge stack of black clouds came rolling in. It covered the sky in minutes! Running for the coach, we got there just minutes before it started pouring buckets. Seconds afterward, thunder appeared in the heavens like the prelude to the bolt that destroyed Sodom and Gomorra. Ignoring the lighting (the storm abated around six) we relaxed until bed.

Note: The next few days will be us playing in the pool and working so I will not be posting for those days

7/7/08 Cave Hopping Bonanza

Hannibal, MO: Today Zack and I had a ton of fun! First we went to a nearby cave and took a tour. We had a very nice and pretty guide to explain everything and keep us from getting lost. My personal favorite part was when Zack had gone through a hole and the guide went to go collect him. I turned off my lantern and just listened to the darkness. It was pretty soothing (though I would not recommend it for those who are afraid of darkness or small spaces). Afterwards we headed back and relaxed for the rest of the day.

7/6/08 Zack Attack (and Losing Him)

Hannibal, MO: Today Libby left us and we some new friends came. I had slept late, so I had almost missed Libby when she and Ed were heading to the train station. After mopping around for a while at the food court Mom and I met Mom’s friend Marge Eisman and her son Zack. Marge and Zack were very nice, and were very similar to my good friends Nancy and Skyler Tornell. Marge had persuaded Mom to take me and Zack to a children’s museum. I use the term museum very loosely because it had absolutely no intellectual value (though it WAS fun to play on). Afterwards we walked around (okay Marge and I walked, Zack bounced), and then went to a small cafĂ© that had some very good dairy-free smoothies and sherbet. Afterwards Mom picked us up and we relaxed at the RV for the rest of the day.

7/3/08 Carnival Day

Hannibal, MO: Today there was a huge carnival! It was all Mark Twain themed so there were many things like fence painting, frog hopping, and dressing up to look like Tom Sawyer or Becky Thatcher, as well as . Mom was very insistent on us going to the carnival, but she let me walk over, so it wasn’t that bad. After having lunch and playing a few carnival games, I was able to slip off to the library and read Trickster’s Choice for a while, and then later all of us went to the hill to watch fireworks. All in all, it was a great festival.

(7/1/08) Return of the Silver Zephyr

Hannibal, MO: Today was the first day of our trip to Hannibal. After picking up the RV from the storage park we traveled to the RV Park near the Mark Twain Caves. These caves were what Mark Twain based the part of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer that Tom and Becky Thatcher getting lost in the caves and finding Injun Joe. Anyway, the best part (for Ed and Libby) was that Zephyr and his family actually was staying in the same campground! They chatted while Mom and I set up the RV and afterwards we all relaxed for the rest of the day.

Note: Tomorrow will be just us unpacking and exploring the town, so I will not be posting for that day

(6/28/08) Hell at Home and Weddings

Wheeling, IL-Today was a day of ups and downs. After I got up, Dad took me driving again (and to do some chores). We started off with country roads, and then actually went onto street lights! I was very happy, and very terrified (Dad gave me some very good tips though which helped) at the same time. After driving for a while I was able to park, and after a lesson and a few tips from Dad, we went into a Chinese restaurant. After eating we went back to Gale’s house, where I experienced hell for yet another time. Apparently I had misspoken when I said that I would only look at manga for a while and Mom freaked when I had spent more than fifteen minutes reading. I told her that I would need a minute; then subsequently Ed went and told Mom after I had spent another half an hour “finishing up”. Mom went ballistic and there was a huge shouting match between her and I, which ended with Mom blocking everything except the math site blocked until I finished my math. Afterwards we went to the wedding. It was the first time I had sat through one and it was very, well, not enjoyable, but the after party was good. Stuffing ourselves on what’s left of our cake slices, we headed back to Gale’s for the rest of the day.

Note: The next few days will be us packing up, so I will not be posting for those days.

(6/27/08) Prelude to a Party

Wheeling, IL: Today was a great day. It was the day right before the wedding, so there was a huge party for the bride planned. Apparently there will be a practice dinner, and then the bride and groom split up, each going to their side of the family’s party. Now I am not very good with setting up parties (and my motivation was a lot less) so I excused myself and walked to lunch again. I stayed out of the way when I got back by staying out of sight (I was caught and had to clean up the bedroom I was sleeping in though). There were a huge amount of people at the party, and the food was good, but I had eaten too many bad things so I went to bed early. Overall though, it was a good day.

(6/26/08) Hancock Heights

Wheeling/Chicago, IL: Today we went to Chicago! Dad got Sarah (Later today she wanted to be called Edith after our grandmother, but she put up with Eddy or Ed instead and I will post her as that from now on), Libby, and I to go right after breakfast. First we went to a Starbucks (where I discovered a delicious sparkling fruit juice I can drink), then went to the Hancock building. This was a very cool building because of the fact that with its over seventy-five floors it towered above the entire city! We saw pools on other the roofs of other buildings! There was a small museum about it and then we headed down. After viewing we traveled down Michigan Avenue and examined the buildings, then went back to the RV via a beautiful street along a nearby lake. Anyway, we headed back and relaxed for the rest of the day.

(6/25/08) The Return of the Father

Wheeling-IL: Today Dad came! Sarah and Libby killed time by playing games downstairs, but I couldn’t sit still. At around twelve I decided to take a walk and to my complete surprise, Dad and Mom were on the front steps! After a cheerful reunion, all three of us (we didn’t want to disturb Sarah and Libby) went to lunch at the sushi restaurant. We had a delicious lunch together and went back to Gale’s to relax for the rest of the day.

(6/24/08) Soaked and Sushi

Wheeling-IL Today was a day of joy and surprises. Mom left pretty early to go pick up Dad, and Sarah, Libby, Gale and I (Steve went to work early) had the house to ourselves. After I played around for a while, I walked to lunch. Now the funny thing about this is that the last time I took this walk I had gotten frostbite, so when I walked to lunch I was a little wary even though it was the middle of summer. There were no problems though and I got to the Japanese restaurant. The food was delicious and after paying back a small debt because I didn’t have enough money last time, I left for a nearby Barnes and Nobles. I found out then my fears were well founded because about two blocks away from the restaurant it started raining buckets. Taking shelter in a store a few blocks away, I waited the storm out. Fortunately for me, it was not a long storm, and I was able to continue to the Barnes and Noble without any more problems. After indulging myself in stories I headed back to the house and relaxed for the rest of the day.

(6/23/08) (Return of the Posts!) Wheeling Ahoy

I have been working on my math most of the days before, so I have been unable to blog. However, this works as well because I can start from this day and move onward. I will also start posting the location where I am at.

Wheeling-IL: Today was a start of a (smaller) great adventure. After parking the RV in a storage park around four hours away, then went to Wheeling. There was a wedding planned for Dad’s niece (my cousin)’s wedding. We went to Aunt Gale and Uncle Steve’s house for the duration of the stay. The best part about this however, was that Dad was coming!!!!! Mom was going to pick him up from a nearby airport (the term nearby is relative-she would have to stay overnight in a hotel with him) and we would all have fun. Libby (Sarah’s friend who came over right before we left) and Sarah were to be in the basement, Mom (and later Dad!!!) in an upstairs guest bedroom, and I would be a room that had Gale’s beanie baby collection. With dreams of being with Dad, I went to bed.

(6/11/08) Museums Galore

Today was another day out. Mom let Sarah and I sleep in, so when we got up, she took us to a German place for lunch. We all tried a potato side called spatzle (cool name isn't it?). After we finished lunch, we went to a museum about Harry S. Truman, the guy who made the order to drop the atomic bomb. If the museum wasn't being biased for him, he should have been praised a lot more than one would have thought. It had explanations about the times, and about how some of his beliefs are still with us today. On a lower level there was an interesting section about the Civil War. I didn't get why it was in here, but it was very informative: going into the reasons why, and even had something about some of the criminals and prisoners of war that were arrested. Afterwards, we headed back and relaxed for the rest of the day.

(6/9/08) Omaha to Oak Grove

Today was another travel day. This time we were able to go to a RV park that had internet (it wasn't very good though). We went to a little KOA RV park in Oak Grove that was next to a freeway intersection. This is very cool because of the fact that there are always a bunch of restaurants nearby an intersection. Tomorrow is supposed to be a work day, so it will not be much of anything except work.

Xaven

P.S. As you may guess, I will be skipping tomorrow.

(6/8/08) Zoology Trip

Today was our first trip to the zoo in over a year! Once we got inside, we went over to the penguin and marine animal exhibits, then we split up. Mom and Sarah explored the butterfly exhibit I went and checked out some of the outdoor exhibits. I enjoyed the avian exhibits (some of the birds didn't even need cages!) and the sea lions the most, and was really bummed when I learned that the giraffes weren't in their exhibit (I never did find out why). After a while we went to an I-max (those are the television screens that are six times larger than your average screen) about the dying oceans. Finishing the popcorn, I then went to a couple of exhibits about deserts and nocturnal animals. Afterwards we headed back and prepare to move tomorrow.

(6/7/08) Parked and Partying

Today we finally went to an RV Park! We were a little spooked after the thunderstorm last night, but it was only cloudy, with no wind at all. We started up and went to a RV park located near Omaha. It was very cool, being big and outdoorsy, but it didn't have internet so I couldn't blog at all (Sorry!). Anyway, afterwards we went to a thing called Taste of Omaha that I thought would be very boring, but it turns out that it was a huge block party! I was very surprised and delighted (I expected we were going to a lecture or a museum, not this). I first got some food, then checked out the shops and stuff that was nearby. I played a few games, and listened to the band that was playing. We all had a blast, and at the end there were some cool fireworks! I thought I could associate a type of firework with all of the members of the family: the quiet, but strong ones could be oriented toward Sarah, Mom was some of the festive multiple-blast type, and Dad were the fireworks that were big and awe-inspiring, and Mayim were the cute sparklers. It was a much better day than expected.

(6/6/08) Tornado Misfire

Today was another travel day, but it ended in a flop. However, it started out great. We started off by going to the train diner that I had walked to last night. The food was delicious and the restaurant was pretty cool as well (they actually had remodeled an old train in9to the restaurant). Afterwards we went to a museum for lack of better term (maybe mini-town?) that had parts of 1880 buildings from a jail to a house to a hotel! Afterwards we left to get to Little Sioux. On the way, the wind started picking up, but we didn't think a little wind (and rain a couple of minutes later) would stop us. On the way, we went to a gas station for refueling of all kinds (food and gas). Unfortunately, the wind had picked up to the point that Mom was no longer comfortable driving that thirty-nine foot sail of a RV on the road. When Mom went back inside for dinner, we found out that we were right next to a location that had tornado warnings! All of us panicked for a while (Okay, I was the one panicking, but I don't think Sarah and Mom went exactly calm either), but that ended when we heard that we weren't THAT close. After we relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the night.

(6/5/08) Posting Flop

Today was the first day of our trip to Oak Grove, Missouri (Originally we were going to Little Sioux, Iowa but due to a couple of unforeseeable circumstances we never made it). We thought that we were going to go there all the way, but Mom was tired and since she was the only one who could drive, we stopped for the day at a KOA RV Park. This one was different from the other that we went to because there was a time limit to the amount of time we could spend on the internet (I had used my part up fairly quickly). That, combined with the fact that our personal Wi-Fi sever had crashed, I couldn't get on the internet to blog. Sorry (Explanation of lack of posting afterwards will be explained later)! Anyway, once we were set up, I was planning on walking to lunch at a diner made out of train cars, but it was only open for breakfast and lunch. I headed back to the RV and played some old computer games we had for the rest of the night.

(6/1/08) Snakes, Bugs, and the Things That Eat Them

Today was the day that Mom, Sarah, and I went back to the Reptile Gardens. First we went to lunch (that wonderfully delicious idea was Mom's, not mine), then went to the bird show again. It was only a little different, but partly because of the trainer and partly because of how good the show was before, I enjoyed it immensely again. After we split up to look at exhibits, then went to as snake show that was just as good as the bird show. Right afterwards we saw a crocadilian show. The host was amazing, even doing some daredevil stunts like putting his hand in a semi-wild alligator's mouth! After we looked at the rest of the park, then went back to the RV where we relaxed for the rest of the day.

P.S. The next few days will be relaxing before travel. I will explain what happens on the travel days.

(5/31/08) Breaking Barriers

Today was a day of reaching goals. Now, I didn't do much because I am a lazy butt (that is one barrier I have yet to break), but it was Sarah's time to shine. She had finished her math on Aleks!!! That is extremely hard to do, and considering the fact that she did that nearly without any help, was even more impressive. As a reward, we had gone into town to relax, me by reading manga, and Sarah and Mom watching the move Sex and the City. Now, I had not found the manga I was looking for, so I walked over to a nearby library. The funny thing about that is I didn't know where the borders was, so I walked all the way around the super center before I realized that there was only one road! After that, I had gotten there without much incident. Afterward we headed back and relaxed for the rest of the day.

(5/30/08) In and Around the Toilet

Today was another work day. Mom had decided (after I had worked on my English again), that it would be a good idea to clean the bathroom. Naturally, I was stuck with that job. Surprised by my inability to work on the job, Mom explained. I was to clean in and around the toilet, wash the mirrors, and wipe up some spills (okay, that was me spilling the cleaning solution, but still!). It took a while, but it was a lot easier than I thought. Afterwards, I was able to relax for the rest of the day.

(5/29/08) Washing, Writing, and Hail

Today was a day of challenges, and determination. When we first got up, Mom had this crazy, yet terrific idea. We were going to wash the top of the RV!!! It was going to be a first-time experience for us, so Mom and I were looking forward to it (Sarah had graciously volunteered to be in the RV so we would know how loud washing the top was). Mom did the driver's side of the RV, and I did the passenger side, and I volunteered to rinse both sides when done. It was NOT easy; there were many difficulties for both of us, but because of that, we were very happy at the end. However, you could tell which side I had done by looking at it (it was the dirtier side). After working on my English, we walked to the restaurant that was in the RV park, and ate there for about an hour, then I said bye to Mom and Sarah (they were still eating) and walked back. It had started to rain a little, but then the most amazing thing happened: it had started to hail! That was the second time in my life I had seen hail, and if I wasn't being pelted by it, I would have observed it. I jogged to the RV to get instead. When Mom and Sarah got back, we watched part of The Matrix, then relaxed and went to bed.

(5/28/08) Attemped English and Zoology

Today was a day of disappointment. I worked on my English (the last few days was actually relaxing), but was extremely lazy, and only got a small part done. I will try to do better on it. Anyway, once we were done we went to lunch at a Sonic-which was very tasty-and went to a nearby mini-zoo called Reptile Gardens. However, because Sarah was tired, we had to leave after going to the first location we went to; a bird show. that was pretty cool though, if you like exotic (a few were from Africa) and American birds. My favorite part was the final bird, which consisted of a raven that was actually capable of taking donations out of people's hands, and putting it in a box. That was about it for the rest of the day.

(5/24/08) Math Excellence (Reading and Writing Too)

Today was another great day. Mom and I got up very early to go the South Dakota School of Mines. There was a huge test that I had to take so Mom could decide where to put me in math. Although math was the main thing, Mom wanted me to work on the reading and writing parts as well. Anyway, I did the test, got the answers, then headed back to the car where Mom was waiting. At that time I looked and the result, and I have 93% on basic algebra, 50% on college algebra, 25% on trigonometry, 92% on reading, and 99% on writing! Mom was very happy at this, and we headed back to the RV to celebrate.

(5/22/08) Reprieve Before Test

Now, being out of the working trance, I will talk about what happened today. Mom had decided to get a crack in the RV windshield repaired so we went to a nearby repair center, then went to explore the town that the center is in. Everyone first went to a Borders to read books (or manga in my case), then went to have lunch. Afterwards Mom and I dropped Sarah off at the RV and went shopping. While we really just got cleaning supplies, I did get a new game. Although it had started to pour, we got the RV set up to move, and left for Hart Ranch, where we relaxed for the rest of the day.

(5/18/08) Dad Gone and Working

Today was a day of turning sadness into hard work. When I woke up, Mom had already left to take Dad to the airport. I was very sad and moped around the RV for a while. Although I had tried thinking about the bad things that happened (see 5/17/08 for example) I had been really upset. While Mom was gone, I went to a website that enabled me to study for the (written) exam for my learners permit. I worked hard all of today, and will keep working hard until I get my permit.

P.S. For the next few days I will be focusing just on working for my learner's permit and will not be blogging until something important happens

(5/23/08) Hard Work Pays Off

Today I got my learner's permit!!! When I first got up today, I did a quick refresher of everything I learned, then Mom drove me to the location where people get their drivers license. After waiting a while, I took the written exam (there was no physical), and passed with flying colors. I had hoped to drive a little after, but there was fog so thick, you could cut it with a knife! If that wasn't bad enough, Mom and I saw an accident so bad, there were only tire pieces left. Once Mom had driven us down out of the clouds (it was at that point that I realized that we were on a hill) we went to a Sonic, then to a Mostly Chocolates to celebrate. We went back to the RV after, but since there was a major exam tomorrow, I studied a lot before bed.

(5/17/08) Dad (and Driving) Trouble

Today was special because it is the last full day that Dad will be here. First Dad and I started off with trying to set up an antenna that would enable the RV's internet to become much faster, but we didn't have the right bolts. While out, Dad guilt tripped me into driving on a deserted road. IT WAS TERRIFYING!!! We had to go down everything that a driver should avoid, and then some. It was exhausting. After we got back, we ate dinner, and while Mom and Dad checked out a light show on Mount Rushmore, Sarah and I relaxed for the rest of the night.

Xaven

(5/16/08) Crazy Horse and His Horse

Today we visited the Native American equivalent of Mount Rushmore: a giant statue of Crazy Horse riding his horse. The statue is created by a group of hardworking individuals who do not take funds from the government, and instead just take donations. However, this has made it so that despite around sixty years of working on it. The best part of the trip was: an explosion (500 tons worth of dynamite) was planned right when we got there! Mom and I got video of the explosion, so that will probably be uploaded onto Malkoff Grand Adventure. After checking out the Native American museum we headed to a steakhouse named Shooters (the food that we ordered was very good) and headed back.

(5/15/08) Rushing More

Note: Yesterday, we did not do anything special. We had just lazed about so I will not make another page just so here is the more important today

Today we visited Mount Rushmore! First we got some audio wands to listen to more information, then started walking (for images, Mom will put up pictures of the trip (or trips if there are more) in her blog). First we passed into a row of state flags, that had every state in the United States! We looked at the museum describing the history of (and jokes about) Mount Rushmore. Afterwards, we all ate lunch at the nearby cafe, then Sarah sat and looked at the famous monument, while the rest of the family explored a thirty-minute walk path that explained nearly everything about the mountain and a small, if sweet history of the presidents. Afterwards we headed back and enjoyed the thought about the great things the amazing men had done.

(5/13/08) Travel Frustrations

Today was another travel day, from Medora to a Hart Ranch in South Dakota near Mount Rushmore. The hardest part of today, though was what happened after the drive. Due to the frustrations of travel days, tempers were running high all around. Anyway, when we had parked the RV, Dad and I tested the water pressure, and to our surprise, there was next to no water pressure. I nearly lost my temper then, but when we had the repairman come over, and we all laughed at the problem (Dad had not actually turned the valve all the way open). We had a fun night afterwards.

(5/12/08) Traveling Birthdays

Today was a surprisingly short travel day compared to two days ago to Medora, North Dakota. However, Medora was extremely close to a town called Wibaux, Montana (Dad has never been to Montana, so we went there to soothe his ego), which we ate dinner at. Before that though, we went to a museum that was based on President Teddy (Theodore Roosevelt). There was even a part about how the president thought of North Dakota. After the museum we we went to the dinner at a little restaurant that so far as could be seen, had no name. Surprisingly, it was forgotten by the kids that Mom's birthday was today, but at least she let everyone had her carrot cake. Once the bill was paid everyone went home and went to bed.

(5/11/08) Earth and Cluster's Houses

Today was a day that was exhausting, yet informative. After getting up and having breakfast (Okay, it was more like brunch, but everyone was exhausted) we walked over to the information center and got tickets for some tours. First we went to a Native American village called On-A-Slant Village (the joke was that it actually on a slant) where the Native Americans that lived there lived in houses made of earth. The Mandan tribe were a matriarch group, because the women actually made the houses that everyone lived in. After exploring the houses, we went over to where General Cluster had lived. It was fun, partly because of the fact that the tour guide acted like we were in 1872. After we did that, then we all headed back to the RV and watched the move Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. It was a sad movie, so Mom wanted us to watch a CSI: Miami to get it out of her mind. We watched one and went to bed.

(5/10/08) Omega Travel Day

Today was a huge travel day. We went from Ogallala, Nebraska to Fort Abraham Lincoln in North Dakota! As one would imagine, because of the distance, it took us around twelve hours worth of driving. While driving, we listened to the rest of the book on tape Dad and Sarah were listening to, then listened to The Golden Compass. If one thought that it was to be clear all day though, they would have been sadly mistaken. It actually started snowing on the trip, and it wasn't until late in the day that it stopped. Anyway, after setting up the RV in the park, we all went to bed exhausted.

Today was the first day I had with Dad, and it was very fun. After having breakfast, Dad and I went over to North Platte. When we first got there, Dad went to get his watch fixed while I read manga, then we went to lunch at a Japanese restaurant named Tempura. Despite eating practically to bursting, we were still able to walk around trying to find the train depot. Unfortunately, there was no way to look at it, so we went back disappointed. The best part about today wasn't the eating or walking, but who was with me the entire time (I love my Dad!). We got back later, and ate with the owners of the RV park again for dinner. After eating some delicious fish and playing games, we headed back to the RV to rest up for travel tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I wanted needed to go to the bathroom, but I couldn't and what happened next is not only obvious, but very embarrassing so because of that, no details. We went back soon after to the park soon after, so I was grateful that I could change my clothes. I was really happy as well because Dad and Sarah are coming tomorrow!

(5/6/08) Apologies and Colts

Today we relaxed all day, so there isn't much to write about, but I have a confession to make. Unfortunately I have not been looking at the comments, so I have not been paying attention. Sorry! If it will work as an apology, I will explain the day (which I had really just relaxed) fully and completely. I got up around six and walked the dog. Did I ever explain about Mayim? Maybe I should right now. She is a Portuguese Water Dog (Other than poodles, they are the only hypoallergenic dog) and is around three feet long and one and a half feet tall. Anyway, I worked a ton on math and got around twenty sections or seven percent of the entire math work done. After I headed to lunch at a restaurant that was around four miles away. On the way, I got some pictures of a colt (baby horse) that we had noticed driving around a couple days ago. I had a burger, than returned for a day of playing Playstation 2. We then watched CSI: Miami and then went to bed.

Note: I am going to try with a suggestion that I should put down the date I am writing about, and say it from the point of view that I just finished up that night. I will start doing that until I think it is unnecessary (though if anyone wants me to keep it up please say so).

Today was a very fun day. When we first got up, Mom and I packed up the RV and went to a surprisingly close RV repair place (I asked Mom why we didn't go to this one. Apparently we needed a specialist that was farther away, while the close repair place is for minor problems.) for the busted water pump hose, then went for a drive. Here is the best part about the drive: when we got onto a dirt road when nobody was around, Mom actually let me drive the car for a little. Both of us were terrified (I think my knuckles are still white) but because of Mom's teaching ability we were able to survive the lesson intact. Anyway, we went to a cool steakhouse for lunch (there were the a ton of animal head plaques on the wall), then headed back to the RV, Mom drove it back (with me as the co-pilot of course!), and the relaxed (Mom working, me playing Playstation) for the rest of the night.

(5/4/08) Writing (Part 7) and RV Relaxation

Note: I am going to try with a suggestion that I should put down the date I am writing about, and say it from the point of view that I just finished up that night. I will start doing that until I think it is unnecessary (though if anyone wants me to keep it up please say so).

Life is great in the RV. Today we watched another Writing DVD (this one was mostly a basic review of the rest of the tapes), but spent most (I helped Mom defrost the fridge) of the rest of the day relaxing. Now relaxing is a thing that I put up often, so I think I should explain it. Now, Mom tends to work or read a book during break. I, on the other hand, tend to play Playstation 2, Wii, or computer games usually. Normally though, I like reading manga (Japanese comic books) that is action or comedy from a website called One. I normally read them while doing homework though.

(5/3/08) Writing (Part 6) and Relaxation

Note: I am going to try with a suggestion that I should put down the date I am writing about, and say it from the point of view that I just finished up that night. I will start doing that until I think it is unnecessary (though if anyone wants me to keep it up please say so).

Today was actually a slow day. The snow had mostly melted away, but it still looked too cold for walking so I stayed inside nearly all day. Mom and I relaxed for a while then watched Mythbusters. After a while, Mom realized the water pump had a leak, so while watching more shows I stood on towels for the water to come out of the carpet. After we watched the sixth writing DVD, and then relaxed for the rest of the day.

(5/2/08) SNOW IN MAY!!!!!!!

Today it SNOWED in May! It's crazy, but it happened! Happily, the dog spent much of her time being walked playing in the new snow. Anyway, we went over to the RV camp's owners' house (That looks weird doesn't it?) t0 play cards again. Afterwards, we headed back to the RV and relaxed for the rest of the day.

(5/1/08) Tempura and Back

Note: I am going to try with a suggestion that I should put down the date I am writing about, and say it from the point of view that I just finished up that night. I will start doing that until I think it is unnecessary (though if anyone wants me to keep it up please say so).

Today was the day Mom and I traveled back to the park we were staying at, but the mechanics still had some work to do, so we went to North Platte again. After some more exploring, we went to a Japanese restaurant named Tempura. Unsurprisingly, it surved tempura and sushi, which were very good. Once we were done we headed back to the RV and went back to the RV park. After the RV were set up, Mom and I went over to the RV park owners' house (it was under the canteen) to play games, and eat dinner. After we headed back and went to bed.

(4/30/08) Town of North Platte

Note: I am going to go with a suggestion that I should put down the date I am writing about, and say it from the point of view that I just finished up that night. I will start doing that.

Today we explored the town of North Platte while the repairmen were fixing the RV. After we left, we went and ate breakfast at a resaurant (I don't remeber the name. Sorry!). Once that was done, Mom and I went to a historical museum about a World War II volunteer canteen that was in the town. After, we saw a lot of Buffalo Bill Cody museums and his personal ranch. That done, I was dropped off at a bookstore while Mom and the dog went to the vent, then we headed back for the rest of the evening.

(4/29/08) Writing (Part 5) and Trucks

Note: I am going to go with a suggestion that I should put down the date I am writing about, and say it from the point of view that I just finished up that night. I will start doing that.

Today we started off with yet another DVD. It was fun, but once Mom and I were done, we had to pack up the RV. The reason was because we were going to get the tow rod replaced. Unsurprisingly, Mom had found more problems (A brake light, and getting a chair that was supposed to revolve) to dump onto the very hard working and patient repairman's lap. Anyway, we ate dinner at a nearby restaurant, and slept in the RV parked in the parking lot.

(4/28/08) Writing (Part 4), Vac, and Tack

Note: I have gotten a suggestion that I should put down the date I am writing about, and say it from the point of view that I just finished up that night. I will start doing that.

Today I had started off with another of the Excellence in Writing DVDs. Once that was done, I went for a walk, then started vaccuming the car. That is hard work! There are very many nooks and crannies for dirt to get in. Anyway, at around 7:00, I went with the owners of the RV park (a nice, slightly elderly couple) to go late-night fishing. In the end what we caught were two fish, several rockfish, and more "it was this big" stories than I could put in the blog. It was around midnight when I got home, so I went straight to bed.

(4/27/08) Writing (Part 3) Still

Note: I have gotten a suggestion that I should put down the date I am writing about, and say it from the point of view that I just finished up that night. I will start doing that.

Warning: I have been listening to a tape about how to write better papers. Chances are that it will sound nicer (hopefully), but for now it will probably sound pretty weird.

Unsurprisingly today started off with another DVD of the hilarious Excellence in Writing set. Sarah would laugh a lot at it. Although it is about writing, the CD actually didn't require me to write an essay unlike what I had expected. After watching the tape, I went over to the cafeteria to eat a bun-less burger because I can't eat wheat. Finishing up the burger, I took some chair repairing tools to the owner of the RV Park, and then headed back to relax for the rest of the day.

(4/26/08) Writing (Part 2) and Atomic Bombs

Note: I have gotten a suggestion that I should put down the date I am writing about, and say it from the point of view that I just finished up that night. I will start doing that.

Today we started off with another of the writing DVDs. I like the lecturer in them. He is very funny. I sometimes wonder which is funnier Andrew Pudewa (the lecturer) or Kathy Griffin. If you ask me, both are hilariously funny. After we spent most of the time working on Aleks and work. At seven o'clock we started watching a movie called Fat Man and Little Boy (These are the two first atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki). It wasn't about the bombs, so much as the people working on it. Still, it was good as well (Yikes, I am starting to sound like a broken record when it comes to movies. I guess to me there are very few bad movies). Afterwards we went to bed.

(4/25/08) Finishing Laundry and Starting Writing

Note: I have gotten a suggestion that I should put down the date I am writing about, and say it from the point of view that I just finished up that night. I will start doing that

Okay, this journal keeping is harder than I thought. Maybe it is because of the fact that we are not going anywhere. Oh well. Today we were actually at home all day. First I went and finished all of the laundry. Mom was very thrilled about that because we had purchased a DVD set about how to write better. I wasn't extremely pleased about that because I don't like writing that much. Once I saw it though it was very interesting, and I enjoyed this part of the series. We relaxed fo rthe rest of the day (I did work on math, but that isn't that interesting and will probably only be mention in passing from here on).

(4/24/08) Laundry and Drillbit

Note: I have gotten a suggestion that I should put down the date I am writing about, and say it from the point of view that I just finished up that night. I will start doing that.

Today was another homework day. Once I finished my math I went to do the laundry. Mom and I were planning on going to a movie called Drillbit Taylor as well as going to the post office and getting dinner, so we went early and had to leave half of the laundry for another day. It was a shame that we got there late, but we had a nice time relaxing at a grill we found nearby. The movie was good, and I would recomend it (then again, it did get mixed reviewes, so it might just have been funny to me). After we headed back and relaxed for the rest of the night.

Sorry about not keeping up the blog. I have been lazy, but that isn't a good excuse. When I think of one I will write it down. Maybe it was a good thing that I had forgotten, because today didn't have anything special. All we did was just work on homework and writing. Sorry!

(4/22/08) Holocaust and Lost

Note: I have gotten a suggestion that I should put down the date I am writing about, and say it from the point of view that I just finished up that night. I will start doing that.

Today was another travel day. We went from Aurora to a town named Ogalla, Nebraska near a lake called Lake McConaughty. Before that though, Selma and Osi came over to eat breakfast with us. Mom wanted me to talk to Osi about what happened during the Holocaust (he was an eight year old at the time) so I tactfully went for a walk with him, then asked him some questions about what happened. He didn't really talk about it though, and talked more about genocide in general (yikes) than the Holocaust. Afterwards Mom and I headed over here, and played for the rest of the day.

Mint and Beer

Today was a field trip day. First we went to the U.S. Denver Mint. The thing is, I had gotten up too slowly, and we missed the 10:00 tour. Mom wasn't too upset though, and we spent the rest of the hour finishing a book on tape we had, and then we watched pennies and other coins being made. After we first went to a restaurant/brewery where we ate ribs, then we went and took a tour of the Coors Brewery. Once we had heard of the "wonderful" alcoholic drinks, we headed back to the RV to relax for the rest of the night.

RV Thoughts

Yesterday was another homework day, and there was nothing that really stood out (Okay, I had walked to lunch, but that doesn't count) so I will talk about what I think about RV life. The reason for this is that I had heard from a people who read the blog they would like my thoughts about life in the RV, so here they are. It never really seemed to me that there was a major downside. I mean, sure there was a high chance I will lose friends, but I could just make more. No offense to Logan or Alannah, but I really don't have many "true" friends. Also, I like being out of a classroom and exploring new things. It is really fun, and I have seen some amazing sites (today we plan to go to a U.S. mint!) so life is really wonderful.

Awkwardness at Passover

Yesterday was another work day, but there was one major thing. For dinner Mom and I went over to Selma and Ossie's apartment for the Jewish holiday of Passover. It wasn't really that interesting, though I did meet a nice girl. Her name was Alannah and we had a very nice talk (okay, I did most of the talking, but I think Alannah was content to just listen). All in all, it was a nice day.

Memories Abound

Today was another homework day. I had showered, then we did work until around 4:30. At that we went to a recrational sports store called REI, then went to a chinese restaurant for dinner. The important part about this was that we met some old friends named Selma and Osi Sladek. While we were eating, everyone talked about old times and afterwards, we went back to the RV to relax for the rest of the night.

Sarah Gone :(

Today was a hard day. Sarah flew over to California today. It was a very upsetting, but I think it would be best if I coninued with the story. After Mom had come back (I was fast asleep when they left) we packed up and moved to a new RV park in Aurora, Colorado. It was nice there, and we got in without many visual problems (we found out later that we could get satelite where we were at) and went to a mall to buy some new books and purchase some groceries. Then we headed back, and played and watched CSI: Miami for the rest of the night.

Major Traveling

Yesterday was a travel day, but it was very different from the rest of the trips. We were on the road for NINE hours (from Wichitaw, Kansas to Denver, Colorado)! That was a lot longer than usual, but it was pretty fun. We finished the CD about how to make people like you that we had been listening to, and are now lisening to The Hades Factor. Another interesting part is that it started snowing in the middle of April! It was a very interesting driving day, though not much happened afterwards.

Homework at Last!

As you can guess from the title, today was a day of hard work. The RV was still being repaired (the house batteries died, but we replaced them with supposedly bettter batteries) so the plan was for us to go to the driver's lounge and do homework. Before that Mom and I went to a Sonic and got some breakfast burritos. Anyway, we did a ton of work (I got 11 out of 291 lesson done; it is easier in Aleks), then had some delicious sandwiches at a deli whos name I can't spell. Afterwards, we simply played until the RV was ready, then played for the rest of the night.

Science Galore!

Today was an unusual day, I think. It has been hard to tell lately. Anyway, when we got up, Mom wanted us out of the RV so people could work on it, so around we went to a botanical garden (that is a herb garden I think), but Mom was hungry so we stopped at a brewery. I thought I would try the local bratwurst (while Mom had a burger and Sarah had fish and chips), but I didn't think it tasted that good. After checking out the gardens (boring, but I am not interested in herbs) we went to a science museum. It had a very interesting exhibit about memory, so we had a lot of fun. Afterwards we headed back and played for the rest of the night.

RV Trouble

Today was a bad day, though it started out well enough. We were planning on going to a new RV park in Witchitaw, but for some reason, the battery died. We pulled over and checked it out, though when we couldn't find any problems. When we got back in we tried to get the engine running, but surprise, surprise: it diddn't turn over. Mom called a tow service while I disconnected the car. We followed the tow truck back to Witchitaw and had it serviced. We THINK the problem is with the connection. Anyway, we spent the rest of the day relaxing, though it was frustrating.

Memorial and Cowboys

Today was a day of sad memories. After we got up Mom had us watch a DVD about the Oakland City bombing and possible conspiracies. It was some pretty weird stuff. Afterwards we went to the Oakland City Bombing Memorial. Mom got upset halfway through and we left without seeing the whole thing, but it was very sad. Once we left, we checked out an art museum that specialized in western paintings. Since we had nothing planned afterwards we headed back and relaxed as well as we could after the memorial for the rest of the day.

Final note: My mind had made up, at least I hope made up, a picture I couldn't get rid of: a little girl trying to pull her Dad out of the rubble. Pretty creepy, huh?

Gambling and Anatomy!

Today was a fun day. First we got up, walked the dog, and played to around eleven then ate breakfast (hash browns and eggs) and left to go to a science museum. When we got there we spit up Mom and I going to a semi disgusting anatomy exibit, while Sarah explored the rest of the museum. Afterwards Mom had purchased me an IMAX movie about stormchasers (people who examine hurricanes, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and less dangerous weather) which I went to while Sarah and Mom went to a nearby zoo. We came back to the RV, then went to a horse racing location where we had dinner and persuaded Mom to bet for us on the horses she picked. Now before anyone says that it is illegal, Mom was purchasing the tickets, not Srah or me. Anyway, Sarah had won a few times and the best I got was fourth. Afterwards we headed back for the whole night.

Finally Caught Up! (4/10/8)

Note: The dates in the titles are for when I fall behind. That is the date of the official day. Once I am caught up I will stop. Sorry! This should be the last one though.

Today was another travel day, but we were so close to the new location that Mom decided to take us to a museum dedicated to Will Rogers. It was in a small location that looked like it had been an expensive house a hundred years ago. It held his life and times, including a Walt Disney cartoon that was supposed to have him, but was changed at the last minute.

We traveled from Tulsa to a RV camp near Oklahoma City afterwards. It was very windy, so Mom was practically white knuckling the wheel. We were all very worried, but got there without incident. We spent the rest of the night relaxing and blogging.

Dining, and Some Educational Stuff as Well (4/9/08)

Note: The dates in the titles are for when I fall behind. That is the date of the official day. Once I am caught up I will stop. Sorry!

Today was hard to remember, but I will do my best. When I woke up I had gotten into an argument with Mom and Sarah, and was in a bad mood. We were planned to go to a museum, which was a good thing because if I had spent another minute in the RV I would explode. It was a Native American museum, and we spent our time looking at painting that are both modern and ancient, as well as reading Native Americans Myths.

Now about the dining thing. Mom decided to let me go to the Japanese steakhouse that I had noticed. For those of you who have not gone to a place like that I highly recommend it. The cooks cook the food in front of you, and while that may not sound exciting, they incorporate many tricks so it is very fun to watch, almost like it is a show, not a restaurant. Once I was done eating I headed back, and played for the rest of the night.

Travel Revision (4/8/08)

Today was another travel day. I really should start working more on what we did and where we went. Okay, we traveled from Hot Springs, Arkansas to an Elks Lodge in Tulsa. While we were driving we listened to a book on tape that was about how to be more popular with people. Once we were set up I went for a walk. I noticed that there was a Japanese steakhouse, and made a mental note to ask Mom if I could go to the restaurant. Afterwards I headed back and spent the rest of the night doing the usual.

Relaxation Alone (for once)! (4/7/8)

Today was a day of relaxation. First I had spent the entire morning sleeping in. After, I got permission from Mom to walk to lunch, a thing I have been wanting do to for a long time. I ate at an Italian food restaurant, then went to get some fudge at a candy shop nearby. Once I was done I met Mom at a local spa. That was my first time at a spa so I was a little apprehensive, but it was very nice. The only thing that would have been perfect was if girls actually helped with the massaging, but you can't have everything! I was allowed to walk back to the RV, and that was the rest of the day.

AAARRGG! (4/6/08)

Note: The dates in the titles are for when I fall behind. That is the date of the official day. Once I am caught up I will stop. Sorry!

Today was a day of frustrations and interest, though mostly education. Sarah had nightmares last night (they involved me, so it MUST be nightmares) and was asleep in Mom's bed until eleven. As such, we tiptoed around until Sarah got up. Mom was unsure about what to do, so I expected that she would say that we would spend the rest of the day here. Instead, Mom simply had us get up and go to a very boring poem reading at a library that would put any sane person into a depression.

Fortunately I had found a lecture on peace in The Middle East and Mom said I could go. I didn't catch the name of the lecturer but he was very good. Most people probably talk about religion when it comes to The Middle East, but he said that not only was it possible, but very likely because if one looks at history, religion was used as a reason to go to war. As such, religion is not important. It is just an excuse. Afterwards we went to a Bill Clinton museum. Then, we came back and did the usual night stuff.

All in a Day's Work and Play (4/5/08)

Today was a big day today. It was my first working day kind of thing. When I first got up, I was a little moody and was a bit rude to Mom and Sarah. Sorry about that! Afterwards I did one of my first ever jobs: raking up gravel that was washed around in a huge flood recently (sorry, we had just missed it otherwise I could provide more details, but I heard that there hadn't been a flood like that since 1980). It was hard work, but I had fun.

Afterwards we went to lunch at a sushi restaurant, then went on a tour that was on a thing called a duck. A duck is a special type of boat (or bus depending on how you look at it) that is specialy set up to be able to be driven in land or water. Once we were off we went and got some snacks that include fudge and a popcorn ball. We went back to the RV, then went to watch a skit where musicians play songs of different eras. It was pretty good. Then we cam back and I wrote this post before going to bed.

Not a very good title huh? Well, it is hard to think of a title anyway. Now then, today was a travel day again. When it was over, we were at a location that is part of a chain called Good Sam. After setting up, it was the usual nightime things: gaming, TV, then bed.

Redone English for College (4/2/08)

Today was a very good day for me.I got up at around nine, and got right to work on the Language Arts I had promised Mom yesterday. I was able to increase my grade by six percent! Now, while that doesn't sound too important, that gave me 93%, an A. After a while of playing my game afterwards, Mom showed me something interesting. It was an enormous amount of college classes that included chemistry, buisness, astronomy, and even how to do well in college!!! That was pretty cool, and I felt really motivated. After that we went to a BBQ place, and then headed back. I stayed at the RV playing my game, while Sarah and Mom went shopping. After they got back we watched CSI Miami, and the I settled down to write this post.

Math and 21 (4/1/08)

Today was a much more interesting day then yesterday. Today I had spent most of the day again just working on my math. Here's the thing though; I had gotten 85% on my test, and was able to get the PlayStation! Before we got it though, Mom took us to watch the new movie 21. It is sort of like Ocean's 13, but is much more realistic so many people would enjoy it. On the way to the game store, Mom got a deal out of me: If I do the 2nd practice tests for math and language arts, I will get a new game. I accepted and after that we went shopping for groceries, then went back. After I unpacked the groceries I walked the dog and wrote in the blog.

English Exit Exam (3/31/08)

I'm going to start putting down the date down of the day that I am writing about because I am sick of forgetting what day I am writing about. Yesterday wasn't much to talk about anyway. The most important thing was though, was that I had worked on mastering the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE). I had taken a practice test, and gotten an 87 percent! That is pretty good, so I was very happy. All I had left to do was the math. If I got a good enough score on the math, I would get a Playstation 2 console.

Today's Post

Now, today's post. Today was mostly spent fixing up mistakes and, for me, watching a show called Crime 360. This show was about how police officers use high tech devices to catch criminals. It is very good. Anyway, Mom had come back around one and we watched some more shows together and then I was sent to The Cockroach Motel (that is what I called the laundry room) to finish the drying that I had missed yesterday. While waiting for everything to dry I had set up a post on Malkoff Grand Adventure to get more people to visit. When I get back I am supposed to take a shower, then have dinner. I've got to check on the laundry so bye!

Unlucky 7th Post

Yesterday was one bad thing after another. Because of that I was so exausted I had forgotten to write the blog! Still, I had gotten up late and still remember everything that happened. Okay, yesterday was a sad day. It was the day that Dad was going to leave. I was supposed to do the laundry, so I went and got quarters, then went about a mile out of the park and down the street to a fruit and vegetable seller. Looking around his truck I didn't see any bags so I went to a gas station that I hadn't thought about but was probably about two miles away or so. I didn't realize it, but it was very humid and I lost a lot of water, and still felt hot. Fortunately for me Dad had gotten worried and went to find me so he explained what happened. I should start carrying around a bottle of water.

A after we got back Mom said that Sarah and will have the RV to ourselves, so we should play nice and I was to do the laundry. Now, I had decided to just stay at the RV because of the fast Internet connection so I didn't pay much attention and it was nighttime. What was bad about that was that a ton of dune bugs made the laundry room their home and made it very creepy. Still, it was a good dday now that I think about it. Oh well.

Dang It!

Sorry I was so tired from when we got back last night, I had completely forgotten. Sorry! I should try paying better atention when I got tired as well. Anyway, yesterday we had visted the Houston Space Center. I was sort of bummed out because Mom had not made it sound like something that nobody in their right mind would go to. Still, I went and it was pretty cool.

First Dad and I went and checked out a copy of the head of the space shuttle that held all of the gadgets and stuff. Then we went on a tram ride of the working parts of the space center. Then we had lunch and checked out a location that was supposed to feel like being inside the space shuttle, but was more of a flop then a hoot. Afterward we saw a thing about how astronauts did stuff like go to the bathroom and actually showered and things like that. Finally, I checked out a simulation of landing a probe on mars while the rest of the family checked out how to land the space shuttle. All and all it was a good day.

As you can guess, today was a travel day. Personally, I think that I should just save the story for when I am too tired to write about that day. Anyway, today was too short a travel day anyway. However, we did not leave until later so we got here at around three. I helped out a bunch in the setup, and played for the rest of the day. Walk and Apollo

I just got a comment that said that my title should describe the day, but this is describing the afternoon. Still, I think it is good because it is mystifying and a little hard to understand so you are curious about it and want to investigate. Still, I'm not trying to understand the human psych (that is Sarah), so let's get started on the day.
After the usual grumbling and stuff of getting up (I've been thinking and I thought that maybe I should start saying what Mom had cooked for us so here it is: today was a sausage that was flavored I think with a type of apple, some potato, and some blood oranges) we went over to a World War II aircraft carrier called the USS Lexington. Once we got on we split up into a guys and a girls teams for lack of better terms, and split up. Dad and I went onto the bridge and he taught me a ton about the airplanes and helicopters that were on. After some more exploring on our own, we watched a movie on how jet pilots were trained, then went into town.
This is where the "walk" got into the title. On the way through town instead of just driving through, Mom dropped Dad and I off, then drove herself and Sarah home. Dad and I spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the town on foot, ate at a (is it me or does the last three words looked like the first word deteriorating?) very nice cafe restaurant (this was less of a lunch, and more of a dinner, so Dad and I didn't eat dinner when we got back). After that we headed back to the RV park. Since the park was nearby the gulf, we had to fight the wind all the way back.
Finally, the "Apollo" part (before this however, I had looked at my voicemail finally, and called back my Uncle Robert. It was great to talk to him, but I was a little rude so Uncle Robert, if your are reading this, Sorry!). While we were on the way back Mom had gotten the Apollo 13 movie. It is a very good movie, and it is also very educational, so I highly recomend it. After that, I walked the dog and then typed this post. Now I have got to go set up my bed. Chow!

A Lack of a Good Title

Okay, I can't think of a good title, but hey I'm trying right? Anyway, today we went to another town that was farther away called Corpus Christi, so far that we had to take a ferry to it! Sill, that was cool though. We ate lunch at a seafood restaurant, then went to the beach. After playing in the sand for a while we went to a information booth where we learned about the nearby barrier islands and the wildlife on them. After that we headed back and then we lounged about for the rest of the day.

Sorry

Sorry about last night, we were too busy setting up the RV to travel. I'll do today's events though. As I said it was a travel day today, but since we got there in about three hours instead of the usual seven I will talk about what happened after up till now. Also, today's traveling was unusual because since Dad was here (he had arrived three days ago for those of you who are waiting for Mom to write SOMETHING. For those of you who are just reading my blog for kicks I am a part of Malkoff Grand Adventure and if anyone uses my email or this blog for bad things like flaming and advertising you will recieve a minimum punishment of $1,000,000 and a 10 year inprisonment-Mom has the same punishment but she is too nervous to put it up because it might prevent people from coming on) and I was able to play computer during the travel time.

Anyway, when we got to our new destination at ICW RV Park in Aransas Pass, I walked the dog on the 1 mile runway that was the park, I noticed that we were nearby a bay that probably connected to the Gulf of Mexico. Once I was back I was told to take out the chairs out of the car so we could go exploring the city and get a late lunch, so I did and off we went.

After lunch at a very nice seafood restaurant we went and explored the town a little. After a while we noticed a fish bait location and after learning to my pleasant surprise that we had a fishing rod we went in and bought around a pound of what looked like shrimp. Then we went to a nature park and looked around for a while and the headed back. Once we were back I played my game for a while, then did my math for a while, then sat down to write this post. For those of you who are look at Mom's blog she SHOULD have set up a new post. Bye!

P.S. Comments and suggestions would be nice, especially if there is no insulting each other. I am new at this so help would be nice. Any who would write down how to get pictures from my computer onto my blog will be thanked sincerely.

P.P.S. From here on out I will be signing my original posts as Xaven. I like the name and use it a lot on games anyway so don't be surprised!

Hello from the Webmaster!

Hi I'm Dave Malkoff and welcome to my not-so-private journal! I am a member of the Malkoff Grand Adventure, but am tired of having to wait for mom to put up the entries so I will try to get a daily journal of the events. The advantage of this is that it will be all my personal view. I promised not to be judgemental, but I might push the label a little with what I say. On travel days I will put up a portion of my story that I am writing for language arts. A major thing to notice will be that I will make a mention about using the RV Internet connection. We had that installed recently. So have fun, but I will boot anyone using my blog for bad things.
